Switches
Multi user Server switches enable from 2
to 16 people direct KVM to any Server or PC that is connected to the
switch. Systems can be developed by combining products that allow up to
256 users to access thousands of Servers or PC's.
The security, resilience, ease of use,
video quality, scalability, flexibility and price of each product does
differ greatly and there are many different features available which our
technical consultants can advise you on.
We have divided these switches into 2
sections, those that use standard KVM Coaxial video cables to connect the
servers or PC's to the switch and those that use standard Category 5 or 6
UTP cabling with KVM adapters.
The main advantages of the UTP systems
are; easier cable management and use of the existing cabling
infrastructure and that they allow the users to be located up to 300m from
the connected servers or PC's without the use of additional KVM over UTP
extenders.
