(PDU)
you
can
hard
reboot
any
connected
device
such
as
a
server
or
network
router
and
Control
the
power
functions
(off/on
or
Reboot)
of
a
locked-up
internetworking
device.
The
remote
connection
can
be
made
either;
- by
connecting
the
PDU
to
a
KVM
switch
or
a
Console
Port/Terminal
Server
via
a
serial
port
on
the
PDU
- or
by
using
an
IP
addressable
PDU
and
connecting
directly
to
the
network

port
units
can
be
rack
mounted
horizontally
or
vertical
units
can
be
used
that
take
up
zero
rack
space.
Other
important
features
include
power
sequencing
to
prevent
too
much
power
being
consumed
by
powering
up
all
devices
at
once.
